RAIN RESCUE

Dogs rehomed throughout Spring 2006

We manage to save many many more dogs than are published on the web site. Often we manage to get larger rescue centres to take the dogs, and then be able to help more that are on the put to sleep list. This is just a few where we have managed to get pictures of them, or where we have rehomed them ourselves. All have a special place in your hearts.

REMEMBER THE NOTTINGHAM POUNDIE OZZIE? I thought i would give you an update on him. He is still with me and is truly one of the nicest dogs i have ever had the pleasure to live with. I couldn't manage to let him go so adopted him in as one of the gang. Here he is waiting for his next squeeky toy 11th July.

Here he is - waiting patiently for his hamburger - thank goodness i am not a mouse. thanks Ozzie for bringing me so much pleasure in my life xxxx 11th July mum

JIMMY- We went into the pound to collect another dog and saw Jimmy and his friend Blue, who were ready to be put to sleep, because the pound were at the limit. We didn't have any room, but couldn't resist their sad eyes, so we squeezed them in and they had to share a nice cozy warm stable for a while, better than a cold wet noisy pound.
As soon as Jimmy's new family saw him they knew he was the ONE for them, and he hasn't looked back since.

NORMAN - Has finally found his lovely new home, he came out of the pound in a bad state, he was so poorly we didn't know if he would pull through, we nursed him back to health and now he has gone to his great new home, be happy now Norman you deserve it. I don't know who is the happiest here - Norm or his new MUM xx

We have just received these new photo's of Norman 30th July, he looks fantastic really settled and happy.

SEAL - Although not quite in a home yet, Seal has made it half way into a Boxer Rescue foster home. At least he is no longer stressed and in a horrible pound or a kennel. He is a lovely dog, and they think they have already got a home lines up for him. Good luck Seal 22nd May 2006

27th May/06 BOUNCER

Bouncer has at last gone to his new loving home where he will get the love and care he needs, this happy little guy can now enjoy the rest of his puppyhood with his new family. We hope you have a long and happy life now Bouncer.
UPDATE 5TH JULY

We have been sent this lovely picture of Bouncer, Ziggy as he is now called, healthy, happy, growing well and nicely settled with his new family,we are all so pleased for him. We love those big new pointy ears Ziggy !!! Good Luck.

TEDDY was just a scared little boy in the pound when our transporters took him out. We only had one kennel and we had 2 dogs, thankfullly cos they were both lovely - they made friends straight away. We didn't even have chance to give him a wash and brush up. A little bird told his new family he was ready and waiting for them, and they found each other. From hell to heaven in just 2 days. 30th May

Sweet PERRY - Perry's new owners had been looking for a while - but they were obviously waiting for this little character coming along. Hopefully he will be sorted for the rest of his days now - and we wish you all well.

ANNIE 7TH JUNE

Annie has gone to a lovely couple who are at home all day and who know that she has had a bad start in life. Last night she was asleep on her new mom's knee after a very busy day. She will now receive more than her fair share of love and cuddles for the remainder of her days. She is now called Molly. A long and happy life now Molly xxx.

MISSY 7TH JUNE

Missy - her new mom and dad and big sisters and baby brother came to see missy last weekend, but she had fallen really poorly. Her big sister has
been getting mom to phone every day to see how she is, hopefully she has now turned the corner, and awaiting the clearance from the vet - will be in her new home by the weekend. This little girl will be loved more than
is possible, and she just so deserves it cos she is the sweetest little thing
yet.

Jason is happily settled in his new home with his new family, as you can see from the photo his Mom send us, he knows where the best spot is to rest his paws. He has certainly got the home he deserves, lots of love and happiness to Jason and his great new family. May 2006
