April fundraising days with Pets@home

Easter weekend ....

A big Thank you to Pets@home for their support to Rain rescue, during our fundraising events in April 2012.

Easter weekend our team of volunteers were selling Easter presents, that had all been donated to us….. So thank you to everyone for their continued support and generosity, for making donations and contributions to the Rain rescue charity.

Thank You to everyone who stopped by to say hello to us, many people shared lots of stories, about their own experiences with their pets, many of which had been rescue dogs and cats.

Meet Baby Bella, Bella joined us on our fundraising day at Pets@home Heeley in Sheffield. Everyone loved this adorable puppy. Bella came into rescue at just a few weeks old, due to her first home failing for her.

Bella has now found her forever home, and will be loved for the rest of her life.

From March 31st to April the 31st our dedicated and wonderful team of volunteers have managed to raise £950.71.

Thank You to everyone for donating in what ever way possible. Every penny of the money raised, will go towards the ongoing vet bills that we have to pay.

Meet Jill and Dave with their friendly rescue ferrets. Sarah got really brave and agreed to take a hold of granny ferret, the kids seemed to enjoy the ferrets more than the adults, but all in all they had a fantastic day.

Our volunteers Lisa and Clive will be starting their car boot sales soon, to raise money for Rain rescue, once they are able to drive the vans onto the field without getting stuck !!
