Harvey in the rescue when he met his new sister, what a difference in him now.
Harvey came back to see us today 16/4/07, and he was so fantastic - he looked like a different dog.
Harvey came in from a dog pound in West Yorkshire. He was one of the skinniest saddest lads ever - BUT - even though he had been starved of food and affection - his tail never stopped wagging. He was such a gorgeous boy. Harvey's new mom and big rottie sister - fell in love with the scrawny lad - and took them home to recover and have a bit of dinner.
Well after just 1 month of tlc and good food and care - as well as worming - Harvey is growing into being the dog he always should have been.
His mom should be so pleased that the care and love she has put into him is being paid back with such a beautiful swan emerging from the ugly duckling. It just shows what lovely dogs are being left in rescue shelters - all over the country. You just have to look beyond the wreck that you see - and find the gorgeous dog beneath. |
