More Dogs & Cats Rehomed in Autumn 2006
MOLEY 4/09/06

Every now and then you are shocked by the types of dogs in pounds - Sooki (now Moley) was one of them. We couldn't manage to get a picture to show just how gorgeous he was cos he was so camera shy. I really think it was because he didn't want anyone to see him, until his new mom had found him. She travelled a distance to come and get him, but we immediately knew - they both had found home. His cheekiness is just so much fun - he got on with his new friend really well - hopefully we will get some new pics in of him at his nice new home soon. He will never be in a horrid pound again. His mom says " He has settled in really well and it is a joy to see Bran and he chasing each other round the garden! He is full of life and mischief!" Now that's a lovely picture isn't it!.

Sweet Gypsy - when she came into me she was cowering, if I even went near to her - let alone, raised my voice near her - this girl had had some beatings in her short life. Once she found out how to play ball though - she worked out - that life wasn't that bad after all. Gyps was another one, who attracted her new mom and dad. They liked the description that she is a real FUN dog. And she is. Gypsy has met her match with an energetic family - and they can both got and have a good run together. Lots of cuddles and falling asleep on the bed.GYPSY 6/09/06
THOMAS 7/09/06

His new owner had been wanting a lovely lab for ages - sadly he had lost his other 2 friends and has only just managed to bring himself to get another one. He knew thomas was waiting for him - and the rest is history. They will just be the best of pals. However, Thomas had been in kennels for so long - he hadn't had a good old mud bath in ages. So waiting for his new dad to come and pick him up, he decided to have one. My did he stink - and had to have a hose down.
SALLY 7/09/06

Her new dad saw a picture of her on the internet, and knew that she was the gal for him. He looked at other dogs, but sally just drew him back to her. he has driven loads of miles today - stopped painting his shed even to come and get her. She met the new man in her life, and fell head over heels in love with her new poodle pal.
Little Jimmy - even when we got him out of the kennels - he was smiling - He has definately been looked after - so how he ended up homeless - we will never know - BUT he wasn't homeless for long. We think Jimmy has lived with children before as he was just so kind and gentle with them. Once he learns all of his rights and wrongs - Jimmy will be an absolute star of a dog. Plus - he has a new young owner who is going to help him learn all those tricks and tests - What a hansome friendly lad - finally found his home.

LOVELY LEO 13/09/06

Poor Leo got left in kennels far longer than he should have - by people arranging to come - and just not turning up. That was obviously because he was waiting for the right family to come along. That family came this week. Leo's golden eyes and ever so gorgeous face - just won over the ladies. He and his buddy are going to be in for lots of lovely walks and even more cuddles. Good luck golden boy.
NANCY 15/09/06

Little Nancy went to her new home today, she went off looking through the back window waving bye bye - her family love her and she has gone to open up some birthday presents.

PENNY 12/10/06

She saw her new mom and gave out her little staffy scream – and unlike most people – Penny’s new mom knew she was saying hello to her. Penny will have lots of love and cuddles now – just what both she and her new family need. It was a pleasure to see her drive off laid on her new bright red bed. Lots of love and best wishes to you all.
