Meet MAX
This lovely boy is now in the care of Rain Rescue.
He has obviously been loved during most of his life - but somehow - bad luck has fallen on him
One of our lovely fosterers went and collected him, and took him home to safety. He has been bathed, wormed and flead.
He is going for a vet visit tomorrow - as he is slightly underweight and we just want him checking over.
Max is a large dog of around 6 years old. Is a Labrador mix and has the nicest warmest conker coloured eyes - you just melt into his smile.
Max is nice to walk on the lead and saw one of the resident cats, and wasn't too interested
Max is looking for a loving home, where the people are happy to do a small amount of walking - but not that much.
Where he will be loved and looked after and the new family will give him the respect and affection - so deserving at his age in life. He isn't to go to a home where there will be lots of children, as he has reached the age where he would prefer a quieter life. That's not to say he wouldn't mind some time with children - just not for long.
Please give us a call if you have a home suitable to welcome Max into you. He will be microchipped prior to rehoming.

Rosie - a lovely spaniel cross girl. Middle aged but a very nice soft gentle nature.
She is being rehomed due to the loss of her owner, and the family not being able to give her sufficient time now. She enjoys both being walked and being in your company.

BRUNO 5/4/08
Bruno is a lovely 7 year old dog. Who has done nothing wrong apart from being in the wrong place at the wrong time. His owner loved him to bits, but he was in a property that shouldn't have dogs - and so he had to rehome him.
Bruno has been totally shell-shocked by having to live in the pound for the last few weeks. He is a gentle boy and asks for very little. His owner said he was superb around people and had been a close part of the family.
Bruno is now living in a home with a foster carer. We will assess his temperament with smaller pets and other dogs, and see how he walks on a lead.
We are looking for a home where people are used to a larger dog. Where they want to go for walks - but not all day hikes. Bruno is looking for a settled life now, and a place to call his own.
