3 more dogs saved from a Yorkshire Dog Pound
Having had such a great week with rehoming some of the dogs – we went back to a dog pound to get some more. This time we got 3 dogs that are so pitifully scared – and 2 of them so horrendously bred and abused – it made us cry.
PLEASE – if you want to help us keep doing what we do – please donate to us – set up a standing order, send a cheque – text over any amount – every penny goes into our charity bank account and is there to help us save lives.
IN AUGUST WE WENT INTO THE DOG POUNDS AND WE SAVED THE LIVES OF 50 DOGS!!!
One little girl that we called PRINCESS was the worst case of neglect that I have ever seen – this little one stank so badly – I thought it was an old raggedy mop that had gone rotten – I didn’t know it was a dog. After a few hours washing her and gently cutting off the matts – we found a lovely little terrified westie underneath. After her vet check we found out – she had recently given birth and fed – a litter of poor westie puppies. Princess is now recovering in a foster home in Sheffield – she’s not ready for adoption just yet.
Then – there was Hattie – a german shepherd young lady – who also has boobs hanging to the floor – having been ripped and suckled by puppies she looks like she’s just been taken away from them – she’s petrified and desperately trying to run away and escape – she will come round soon but she is so thin – its pitiful to see.
Little DUKE’s owner had gone into a home and died – He’s still in shock and terror. He couldn’t move – just froze stiff and is absolutely petrified. Thankfully, Mrs Nix came and swept him up into her car and her arms, and he’s now recovering slowly along with her other little dogs. Lets hope he recovers and learns to trust soon.
