Belle – Found her perfect parents
This lovely old girl, having been neglected for many years – ended up in the pound. Once in with Rain Rescue, and in the Nix foster home, she came out of her scared shell. After having 10 teeth removed, and a fabulous free grooming at Pets at Home Kilner Way (THANK YOU) Belle waited.
Her mum and dad saw her, and now she’s got a loving appreciative home who will cuddle her 24 hours a day (when she’s not on the seaside at Ingoldmels that is).
We were happy to have helped you Bella.
was dumped in a dog pound, probably going to be put to sleep. with a mouth full of rotting teeth and nails over an inch long and matted coat – her hopes weren’t good until one of the lovely Rain Rescue volunteers heard about her, and they went to get her to safety. Now fostered with Mrs Nix, Belle’s life has never been so good.
BELLE has had 10 teeth removed now, and is on the way to recovery. THANK YOU TO CROOKES VETS AT HACKENTHORPE FOR A GREAT OPERATION AND DOING IT AT A GREAT PRICE FOR US. We all need to pull together to help these pets who really have nobody. Our vet bills are huge – we need to keep bringing money in all the time to pay for it. Without money, we can’t do what we do. Please help us to save more dogs like Belle.
All they know is that they put themselves through this, out of their own free will and their own hearts – because they know that it does help at least a few dogs find homes.
Whilst there, the kennels asked if they would help an old girl – down on her luck. How could they refuse.
Bella came home with them, but stank the car out. Thankfully after a groom, she wasn’t too bad. Tonight – she’s lost and in a daze fostered yet again with Mrs Nix.
She will go to the vets in the morning, because she doesn’t seem too well.
Her teeth are atrocious. Her lips swollen covering all the rotting badness in that poor mouth.
We are desperately in need of money for the vet bills. This is the 4th dog in the last 2 months thats needed major dental work and they all come at such a huge cost. Please, if you can spare any money – please donate to keep us helping these dogs.
At least this is one old girl who will now be loved and in a warm soft house tonight – and Mrs Nix will find her a fab new home now.
Belle isn’t up for adoption just yet, but she will be once we get her feeling a little bit better.
If you are interested in adopting me or any other of the dogs in Rain Rescue's care please view our adoption guide or complete the pre-adoption questionnaire - many thanks!
If you have completed the pre-adoption questionnaire, and wish to talk to one of the volunteers please phone 07725 888207 - please note, we are always busy but will try to answer your calls as quickly as we can.
