Bobby – Now called Scout – in a fabulous new home

We are pleased to let you all know that this cute little man has gone to a fabulous new home tonight.  It was a pleasure to have saved your life.

Bobbie is now called Scout.

Bobby, this sweet little Jack Russell is a fabulous and friendly little man.  He came out with us to the Rising Sun Beer Festival where he mixed and mingled with everyone and was so friendly.  Whenever anyone he knew came near – his little body wiggled and wiggled – he’s a star.

As soon as he saw some children, his little face shone – he is just so friendly.  Nobody would know what this little man has gone through at the hands of us people – to think how he still loves us – is incredible.

Just last week we got him out of the dog pound – where he was so very lost and scared – he had been found laying on a grave – having lived rough for a while, his whole body eaten away by fleas and scratching himself to bits.  He was petrified of everyone – frightened what was going to happen to him next.

He would walk out – look at us, and slowly turn away and walk back into his bed – his owner wasn’t here for him today so nothing to wait for.

If you are interested in adopting me or any other of the dogs in Rain Rescue's care please view our adoption guide or complete the pre-adoption questionnaire - many thanks!

If you have completed the pre-adoption questionnaire, and wish to talk to one of the volunteers please phone 07725 888207 - please note, we are always busy but will try to answer your calls as quickly as we can.

Story when Bobby came into us……2/7/12

Bobby is very sad – he will need time to come round, to adjust and learn that he’s going into a new chapter in his life.  We will be able to help him turn around physically – but he will need a kind person to build up his trust mentally too.

I sat in with him later tonight, and he slowly walked over to my hand and sniffed it then wagged his tail, and went back to bed – a huge step forward that will only improve with time and patience.  Do you know anyone looking for a friend in need?
