Sad loss of Irene

We heard today about the sad loss of our lovely basset Irene.

She had a terrible life – being used for breeding far more than she should have done and her under carriage was so worn and droopy but still – she always had a smile on her face no matter who she saw.

Being typical of the breed – she led others followed – and did her own thing – but was happy for you all to join in with her as you wished.  When she found her fabulous mum – the rest was history and a perfect match was formed.  The two of them made many friends on their regular walks around Sheffield – chatting and saying Hi to both human and doggy friends.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her and we send special huggs to her loving mum who had such a happy few months whilst she loved her.  Enjoy yourself now Irene – you have earned the rest dear.
