Thank you WOOD GREEN for helping South Yorkshire strays

We drove all day to get the 5 dogs to safety today with Wood Green.  It was lovely to see them in lovely thick beds and nice waggy tails as we left.

One very long – but worthwhile day and thanks to this lovely rescue for helping to save their lives for them.  They really were worth it and are lovely dogs.

Starting on our newsletter – been sticking labels on envelopes all week – we have a mailing list of about 600 people and are sending out our newsletter to let you all know what we have been up to – and hopefully you will be able to send us some donations back – to help us keep on going.  Please – tell all your friends – see if people would like to donate by standing order each month?  Any company that would like to support us?  Every penny counts and goes towards our huge bills that it costs us in vet bills, transport, kennelling and care plus everything else that it takes from us to save these lives.

Without donations – we simply can’t carry on and we won’t be able to carry on for much longer unless we get a regular source of income for the rescue to survive.  We have never had a legacy as most rescues do to give them a little bit of sustainability – we run from day to day  - on a low budget all the time – trying constantly to bring money in to keep us going.  We would love to be able to afford to have a couple of staff to ease the pressure of the dedicated volunteers who help us, who really are almost burnt out.  The pressure saving these lives really is so hard.
