Operation feral has two new recruits Harold (black) and Milo (ginger), two tom cats captured at the Sheffield site where we are helping to trap, neuter and release around 90 feral cats living on the site. Their conditions are bad and population growing all the time.

We are attempting to help their lives be healthier with Operation Feral. All is going well but we keep coming across tame cats rather than the ferals we expected them all to be. This make it hard for us to go back and release these cats. Tame cats live in a different way to ferals and don’t usually have the appropriate hunting skills to find their own food.

Both Harold and Milo have been brought back to Rain Rescue so we can find them loving homes who will ensure they are well looked after in the future.

To help towards our costs of Operation Feral you can text TRAP33 £1/2/5/10 to 70070 or visit www.justgiving.com/rainrescue. Thank you.
