Honey has found her new home. After being loved and cared for by Lisa and Clive, her new mum has seen her and we all know this is the perfect home.
Honey didn’t deserve to be dumped in a dog pound, nor did she ask to be abandoned.
Rain Rescue are happy to have saved your life Honey.
Honey is a gentle lap dog, and just loves to spend time on your knee or the sofa at the side of you.
Currently living with 4 other dogs and 2 cats, Honey is fine with cats, but would probably be best rehomed as an only dog as she just adores the attention.
Honey is in a foster home in Sheffield.
She enjoys playing with you but only gently – she will only need tiny walks each day – or just allowed to play in the garden.
Honey was probably dumped because she has a heart murmur. The vets say she doesn’t need to be on medication at the moment but this may need meds in the future, so anyone taking her on would need to be able to afford tablets for her should this worsen. Level 3 isn’t bad – she could have been born this way – or it could have developed – nobody knows now she’s got not history. Her medication won’t be too expensive – probably around £30 pcm if that but we can’t say for sure. She can also be insured for anything else – but just exclude this condition.
Honey has been beaten – if you raise your arm or your voice – Honey not only cowers but rolls over on her back in fear. With time and in a gentle home, Honey will once again learn to trust people again – once she knows you are kind – she’s absolutely fine and is a pleasure to be around.
Honey is looking for a steady home, which isn’t noisy or stressful – no loud children or noisy environment. Someone who will commit 100% to caring for this sweet lady and ensure she receives regular vet checkups.
