The Rain Rescue website is unique. Updated regularly it brings pictures of dogs that are needing new homes TODAY.
RAIN RESCUE is a small group of volunteers who's aims are to help pets that have no owner.
Primarily helping dogs in dog pounds who have nobody to hear their pleas.
The Charity Summerfields, Life Skills through Pet Care has been a registered charity since July 2006. During 2008 it adopted Rain Rescue as its working name and the volunteers are now working together with just one aim. Helping pets to find the right people - and people to find the right pet.
Rain Rescue works closely with a few pounds in Yorkshire and will always look to find rescue spaces for dogs in need. ~Searching for reputable rescues who have good rehoming criteria - and who are looking for nice suitable homes and want the best when rehoming their dogs.
We long for the day when dogs are no longer killed just because he has found himself lost or abandoned in the wrong city of the country - one where there are just too many dogs.

Thank you to Pets at Home for their donation for boarding fees for 2 dogs for 52 weeks. This will save 2 dogs lives and give them sanctity awaiting vet treatment and then rehoming.

Rain's website is designed for rescued dogs needing new homes, many of them pound dogs, who would otherwise be destroyed. All the dogs on this website are with individual Rescue
Centre's if you are interested in re-homing a particular dog you need to contact the appropriate Rescue direct. Any money donated to Rain is used to help rescue's and individual's who save lives and care for homeless animals.
