Akita Superstar Sasha

Meet Sasha – the dog who really does have it all. Good looks, wonderful personality- what more could someone want from a dog?! Sasha came to us from the pound as her owner sadly had to give her up due to ill health, but it is clear she has been very much loved. She is a steadier girl, but does enjoy a game of fetch, and some gentle affection from her humans. She would benefit from learning a few more of her basic commands, but this doesn’t stop her from being a well behaved girl, who walks nicely around other dogs, and has been good on the lead at the centre.

Sasha gets on well with other dogs she has met, and has previously lived with another, but she is happier with a more gentle play style and a dog who knows when to let her rest too. We have no history on her around children but think she would be OK with older children who are sensible and used to larger breeds, around 10 years of age. She has shown no reaction to cats she has seen at the centre, but we can never guarantee, and slow introductions are required.

This wonderful girl truly deserves a fresh start and second chance at life- could you offer her a loving new home?
