Bear (Paddington)

This is Bear, he is a stunning Mastiff cross who is searching for a new home to call his own. Bear is just a big lump of adorable – he does forget how big he is and will need owners who are physically able to handle him on the lead, as he can be strong. He would suit a family who have owned Mastiffs or similar giants  in the past, and know what to expect. He walks well on a Dogmatic headcollar and this is something we would advise any new owner to continue with for ease of control. Whoever takes him home will be rewarded with loyal and slobbery cuddles.

Bear is now in a foster home in Sheffield where he is happily left for about 5 hours each day and as long as he gets his walks either side of being left, he’s happy to sleep away the hours waiting for you to come back.  He has a giant bed, and although he tries to get onto the settee – once told he goes back to his lovely soft bed.

GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS – Bear has previously lived with another dog but we feel he is better suited as an only dog.

GOOD WITH CATS – Yes, he did live with cats previously and has walked past our resident cats with no problem.  This would need to be taken in carefully with any adoption.

GOOD WITH CHILDREN – He’s been fine with all he has met, but due to his size, he would knock over smaller children so an adult only home is preferred.

Bear has a rehoming fee of £200 , this includes ; health check, vaccinations, neutering, microchipping to your details, flea and worming treatments, lead, collar, ID Tag and 4 weeks free PetPlan Insurance.
