Bernie – nervous young kitten

Description

Little Bernie recently came into our care when he was found on the streets, lost, covered in fleas, with no place to call his own. He is a very nervous boy and is taking his time to settle into cattery life here at Rain. At the moment, he finds it very difficult to trust people and who can blame him after all that he has been through.

Bernie is still undergoing his assessment and any adoption is also pending a vet check, but he is really hoping that someone with time, patience, lots of TLC and understanding (experience in socialising nervous kittens/cats would be perfect), is waiting around the corner to welcome him into a new, forever home.

This little cutie is seeking a quiet home, with patient and understanding owners who will give him the love and patience that he needs to let him come out of his shell in his own time. We are sure that Bernie will grow in confidence over time, he just need the right home to let him shine.

Maybe you have been looking for a new addition to your home? Could Bernie be the one for you?

SUITABLE WITH CATS – Bernie may really benefit from living with an existing outgoing and confident feline.

SUITABLE WITH DOGS – Possibly, if used to being around cats and very calm around them. Careful and slow introductions would be needed.

SUITABLE WITH CHILDREN – Bernie is looking for a quieter home with no young children.

INDOOR/OUTDOOR LIFESTYLE – When Bernie is old enough, he will likely want access a safe outdoor environment.
