EBONY has just gone to a great new home with a new playful brother. Pictures to follow of this fabulous girl. She will recover and learn to trust as her new mum has lots of time.
Rain Rescue were happy to have saved your life Ebony and help you along the way.
EBONY is not up for rehoming just yet – 23/06/14, once she is ready, she is looking for a home with a VERY stable homelife and other playful dogs. She comes alive when with other dogs.
She can’t be left for too long during the day and really needs just one person or family to be caring for her. Initially she doesn’t want people who take to parents during day, or have dog walkers in – we think this will freak her out as she can’t cope with dramatic change. She’s petrified of getting into cars, and anything new. She daren’t go for a walk, won’t climb stairs and freaks when she walks through a doorway. She won’t go in a crate but once in seems settled.
Whatever has happened to her to create this fear is pitiful and someone should be ashamed of whatever damage they have done to her mentally if not on display physically. I hope our lovely foster family can help her come round.
We were asked to help out with a young black labrador. This gorgeous girl is one of the most petrified dogs we have helped out of the pound.
She cowers and walks on her belly – the fear in her eyes tell a million stories.
We had to find space, she needed some help.
Thankfully, our wonderful foster mum Auntie Pauline offered a space and she moved in with Cody and Jenson. The 2 black wonder boys.
Whilst ever Ebony is with the dogs she’s fine. With people – she’s still petrified.
If anyone is interested in rehoming Ebony, we are leaving her a while to settle and start to trust with auntie P. Please fill in a Homefinder form and someone will get in touch with you later on if you have a suitable home for her. We try to acknowledge all emails so please bear with us.
