Eric – nervous lad, seeking quiet retirement home!

Eric is one of our longest resident cats here at Rain Rescue, living with our feral group. As he is reaching her senior years, Eric is seeking a quiet retirement home where he can live out his remaining years in peace and tranquillity. He does get quite worried in new situations and around new people, but once he knows you, he relaxes quite quickly and is happy for you to potter near to him – especially if he gets some tasty treats in return.

Eric may never be a full lap cat, or a cat that wants lots of fuss and attention but that still doesn’t mean he doesn’t deserve love, stability, security and a cosy bed to sleep in. He would be best suited to a quiet home with no hussle and bussle, ideally in a semi rural location as he hasn’t been used to busy areas and are easily frightened.

Eric has been used to living amongst many other cats, so a home with another feline (or more) would be very beneficial – he may struggle to live as an only cat. He gets on well with Troika….it would be nice if they could be adopted together, although not essential.

Eric can get a little snuffly from time to time, so new owners will need to be aware of this and keep him safely inside when he is showing signs of flu.

Are you looking to adopt one of our most needy cats? Please enquire about our pretty Eric, he might just be the feline for you.
