Little Jack

This chubby little boy came into kennels having belonged to an elderly person.  No longer able to care for Jack and his 2 friends, he’s been waiting for that perfect home and is a bit fed up missing those cuddles.

Jack is a typical little jack russell.  Not fab with other dogs so needs to go as an only one, can be cocky and grumpy sometimes but hey – he’s a jack.  They just do, and only jack loving owners will put up with them because they don’t mean it really.

Jack is looking for a new home without cats, where he will get walked and loved for the rest of his days.

Jack is in a foster home in Sheffield where he is happy to be left during the day for about 4-5 hours and enjoys the snooze.

Here is what his foster mum has to say about him

Jack has been in foster with us now for a couple of weeks and we all absolutely adore him.  He is a dream in the house, he is extremely clean and fine to be left for a few hours during the day.   He loves to sit with us on the sofa for cuddles and just has the waggiest tale for everyone he meets at the house and out on walks.

We think he lived with 2 other dogs but he was a bit of a bully where food was concerned so he would be looking to be rehomed as an only dog.

This little lad gets really excited when we put on his lead and barks, quite a bit. Once we set off walking he settles down, we don’t know if It’s just excitement at going for a walk or if he just isn’t used to being on a lead. We’re really hoping this doesn’t put people off because he is just a sweetheart. A nice secure garden would be heaven for him.

Jack is an older boy and has had an awful time of things lately.  If your looking for a calm, quiet companion then this boy is perfect.  He would be happy to just potter around a large garden if someone wasn’t up for walks – but does enjoy your company when you are around.

Jack will be rehomed with our Special Rehoming Package and have a requested donation for him.  We just want him to be settled in his own home for the rest of his days.
