Introducing Lizzy – this pretty young lady came into our care via the RSPCA after she was picked up by an officer. She had nowhere to go and was so nervous and scared, how could we not make room for her!
Lizzy has spent all of her life on the streets and we were worried at how she would adapt to domesticated life – so untrusting of humans and who can blame her after all that she has been through. Luckily, a space at Auntie Sally’s house became available, so off she went to settle in there.
Lizzy is making slow and steady progress and gradually starting to relax in her foster home. She still has a long way to go but is making the right steps, so we are hopeful that she will live a happy life in a home environment.
We think that Lizzy would be best suited to a very quiet home, with no children. She may benefit from living with an outgoing and confident existing cat in the home, who can show and give Lizzy that confidence that she needs.
Sally, her foster mum is making great progress with Lizzy and is spending a lot of time socialising and gaining her trust, so we are looking for a home with owners who will continue this work.
We really think that Lizzy will make a wonderful addition to the right home, she just needs that extra bit of live, security and understanding.
SUITABLE WITH CATS – Lizzy may benefit from living with an outgoing, confident cat.
SUITABLE WITH DOGS – Possibly – would need to be very calm and used to living with cats as Lizzy is easily frightened.
SUITABLE WITH CHILDREN – Lizzy is looking for a quiet home with no children.
INDOOR/OUTDOOR LIFESTYLE – Lizzy is very nervous, so at the moment, will need to be an indoor only cat until she has gained much more confidence, but in time, she may like access to outdoors.
Lizzy has an adoption fee of £95 which includes neutering, vaccinations, microchipping and 4 weeks free pet insurance with Petplan.
