Sadly, little Phylis has just been put to sleep. The vets can’t think what it is, but this is often the problem when you have no history for them. Her bloods were showing high problems and Nicky nursed her over night, but she has slowly deteriorated. We have just nursed her whilst she drifted away to a peaceful sleep.
Another one to join our ‘never forgotten garden ‘ when we manage to get it created.
Sleep tight little Phylis, many a tear has been shed over you.
This lovely little Terrier girl has come into our care this week from the stray kennels. She is ever so sweet, cute and lively despite being blind. She is a busy little body and does not let her disability hinder her in the slightest. We have named her Phyllis and she is approx 6 years old. As you can see from her photos she is a little Jack Russell type terrier with a dappled coat which is in a very poor condition at the moment.
She is now in foster with one of our girls Nicky and will be getting spoiled and pampered. Over the next few days she will be assessed and we will ensure she receives all the care she needs and passes all her vet checks for a healthy little lady before adoption.
Although Phyllis is not ready to meet her new family just yet please watch this space for her updates and contact us if you would like to meet her very soon.
