Our Rodders is a super handsome Staffy boy on the lookout for a fantastic new home! Arriving at Rain Rescue as an unclaimed stray, Rodney was very shy, and suffering for a nasty bout of kennel cough, making him feel very poorly and under the weather. After lots of love and TLC, Rodney is feeling much better and now ready to find his perfect home. He is a fantastic boy, who is generally a very well mannered chap! He walks nicely on the lead, and is quite a laid back boy, preferring cuddles and chilling out to lots of hustle and bustle.
Rodney is looking for a relatively quiet home, who are around quite a lot of the time, as he loves human company and doesn’t like to be alone for too long. He may be suitable to live with a quiet, gentle canine companion, although is not too sure about dogs who are too bouncy or playful, he definitely likes the quiet life! Rodney doesn’t show too much interest in playing with toys, and this is something we are working on, to try and convince him that toys really are quite fun. He does however, enjoy puzzle feeders and Kong toys, and this is something he would really enjoy using in his new home to keep his mind occupied.
Rodney is a super stunning lad, and with time and patience, and plenty of love will make a wonderful companion for someone- he really is a true ambassador for the Staffy breed! Due to his slightly reserved personality we feel Rodney would be better suited to a home with sensible, understanding children over 10. Could you make Rodney a very happy boy, and offer him a new start in life?
