Suzie – Lovely brindle lady

Description

Suzie is a gorgeous brindle girl who has found herself looking for a new home.

“My name is Suzie. I love people of all ages. I also like to meet up with other dogs when I am out walking. I have lots of energy and enjoy going on walks, long or short. I like to play tug with a stick or rope, and run after a ball.

In the house, I am interested in what is going on and I like to be with other people. My favourite indoor game is “Find It” with doggie chocolates. In the evening, I am happy to curl up in my bed or on the settee.”

Suzie is well trained. She responds to fetch, sit, come, stay, slow, shake hands and lay down. When people are eating, she shows an interest but does not beg or whine. She does not like water, so you will not need to deal with a wet dog unless it rains. She is very happy in cars and will settle in whichever part of the car that is allocated to her and will happily lie down and have a rest or sleep. You can see from the photos that she has a beautiful brindle coat. So many people say that she is a lovely dog; calm and good natured that she is.

She has an inclination to chase sheep so she must be kept on a lead in the countryside.

Her history is not known but she shows no signs of being mistreated or abused. The vet thinks that she is between 4 and 5 years old. She was taken home from Rain Rescue at the end of 2012 by a couple but due to health reasons, she needs a new home. The owners would like the transition to be made in stages to avoid stress to Suzie but this can obviously be looked into at the time for whats best for all involved.
