TOBY – Very handsome lurcher

Sadly due to the complications and extensive surgery that Toby has had to go under recently – his leg still wasn’t getting any better – even with the hydrotherapy.  We decided to have the whole leg x-rayed and it was found that he had a tumour deep in the leg that was stopping it healing.  Discussing the whole procedure over with our vet, it was decided that the kindest thing for Toby was to have him put to sleep

A sad day for all.

is  a handsome lurcher that suffered an accident with his back leg.  We have now had the leg repaired and he is on gentle build up exercise.  Toby has been in a lot of pain and doesn’t moan.  He is now showing his character as an affectionate dog that will enjoy a home with gentle exercise and affection.

He has played with other dogs here and never shown any aggression.   Toby is a sight hound and would be no good with cats and although Toby has  been fine with all the dogs here  and walked out with most of the dogs at Rain we would be looking for a home where he would be the only dog in the home.

He will be looking for a home that is used to this breed of dog with people that  can continue the care this beautiful boy needs.

Toby is on our Special Re-homing Package and has a rehoming fee of £100.00.
