Whippet Boy Perkins

Description

Meet Perkins, a very handsome and affectionate Whippet boy. Just a youngster poor Perkins seems to have had his life turned upside down after finding himself homeless and in kennels – an experience he is finding very hard to deal with and we really hope it won’t be long before he’s in a new home.

He is a sweet soul who loves a fuss and a cuddle. After his morning walk, he spends his days in the office where once he’s settled will lay on his bed, relaxing the day away – occasionally popping over to ask for another Schmacko, he seriously loves them!

Perkins is looking for a home where his owners initially won’t need to leave him alone as he does suffer from separation anxiety (or at least he does in kennels) – ideally a retired home or one where he could maybe accompany them to work would be ideal. He’s an intelligent lad though already knowing some basic commands and we are sure with dedication, training and understanding owners he are sure he will adjust. Being a youngster he also needs a home that knows how to set boundaries using positive methods. Perkins would love a home possibly with another laid back confident dog for guidance and comfort but sadly no cats or small animals.

GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS – Perkins prefers calmer dogs.
