UPDATED 8/5/08

This girl is Dolly the Dalmatian cross Collie.  She is one of the younger dogs in the rescue kennel, coming in at 12 months old.  She is a medium sized dog and has a smooth coat.  Taking her parentage into account she will probably be a lively girl once she settles in with her new family.  Dolly would probably like to live with a family that will have plenty of time to give her lots of long walks.  Dolly has some basic training but, after her stay in the rescue kennel she may need a bit of reminding.

Meet Joe, he's a two year old, dark brindle Boxer, with a white chest.  Joe seems to have a really nice temperament and for a young Boxer he is relatively well behaved.  Joe is very thin, but once he is settled with his new family I'm sure he will start to put on a  bit of weight and look slightly less ribby.

This is Hugo. Hugo is approximately 10 months old and is thought to be a German Shepherd cross.  Hugo is a medium sized dog with a smooth coat.  When Hugo first meets people he will step back and appear to be wary until he has weighed up the situation.  He took treats very nicely without snatching.  His new family will need to be patient with him at first and give him plenty of exercise as he is a young dog.

This boy is Sooty.  Sooty is thought to be a collie cross.  Sooty is about 12 months old and has been castrated.  Sooty is a small dog with a smooth coat.  Sooty is another young dog who is finding life in the rescue kennel very strange and somewhat intimidating.

This little dog is Bono.  Bono is thought to have some terrier and collie in his heritage.  He is only small in stature with a medium length coat.  Bono is approximately two years old.

Meet Allie.  Allie is another youngster in the rescue kennels and finding it all very strange.  Allie is thought to be a cross Springer Spaniel and Collie mixture and is of a medium size.  Allie is ten months old.  She has a very sweet nature and will come to sit beside you for a fuss making of her.

Maisy is a four year old, cross Jack Russell Terrier and is a small to medium sized girl.  Maisy has been spayed.  She is reported to be ok with children but not with cats.  She has been housetrained.  Maisy is used to being left alone and so will be happy on her own for a few hours.  She has also been used to travelling in a car without any problems.

This is Tess, she is a 14 month old German Shepherd dog.  Tess has a medium length coat and so her new family will have to put some time on one side to groom her each week.  Tess has been house-trained and is ok with children but not with cats.

All these dogs appear to be friendly but they have not be assessed and are usually found as strays.
