Reference - 3772 Kennel - 28 "Samson" Breed - Lab cross Rottie (possibly) Age - 3yrs Sex - Male Colour - Black Size - Large
Well Samson has been with us a while now and his true colours are really coming out. We have seen no grumpyness for quite a while now (he may just have been nervous as the kennels is a scary place). He is very playful. Good on the lead. He sits beautifully for his picture to be taken once you have his attention. He enjoys barking at the other dogs, although he may be better in a home with no other animals or children. Needs owner experienced with large breeds. Clean in his night time kennel. Knows basic commands.

Reference - 3829 Kennel - 25 "Freddie" Breed - SBT (poss cross) Age - 2-3yrs Sex - Male Colour - Red brindle Size - Small Freddie is really friendly. Lovely boy who likes to be with people. Freddie doesn't seem fazed by other dogs and will possibly mix well. Being a staffy type he has lots of love to give as well as energy. Seems to have had some training although it won't hurt being worked on a little more. He is quiet and hardly ever makes a sound.
Reference - 3833 Kennel - 10 Breed - SBT (poss cross) Age - 3-4yrs Sex - Male Colour - Black/Grey muzzle Size - Small This boy has a very cute face, he looks older than he probably is due to him having a grey muzzle, however his teeth are very white. He is friendly and seems ok with most other dogs. Knows basic commands. Usually clean in his indoor kennel. Loves to chase the water from the hose pipe.
Reference - 3839 Kennel - 19 Breed - Cross Breed Age - 4-5yrs Sex - Male Colour - Fawn Size - Medium This boy is very shy at first. He seems to dislike dogs when they walk past but who knows what he will be like in a less stressful environment. He has very short fur similar to that of a Sharpei's. He is currently underweight but in a proper home on a good diet he should gain the weight and look better for it however he is a slim set dog. He knows some basic commands.
Reference - 3843 Kennel - 46 Breed - SBT/Lab Cross Age - 2yrs Sex - Female Colour - White/Tan patch Size - Medium This girl is a chunky girl, she is vocal with other dogs but not aggressive. She is strong on the lead and will need a firm but fair handler. She is also quiet submissive and fusses you while she's low to the floor. She is quite energetic and will suit an active family. The kennel staff have had no major problems with her during her time in the kennels.
Reference - 3861 Kennel - 39 Breed - Mastiff cross Age - 18months Sex - Female Colour - Red Size - Large Extremely friendly girl who loves to jump up and lick you to death. She will be suited to an active home without any small children due to her size and her habit of jumping up. Her fur is unusual and longer in some patches, she is a lovely colour. Very nice looking dog who has shown no aggression what so ever towards people or other dogs. She pulls a little on the lead so will need some more training.
Reference - 3864 Kennel - 49 Breed - Cross Breed Age - 4yrs Sex - Male Colour - Light brindle and white Size - Medium Nice friendly boy. Knows basic commands. Dislikes some dogs (sticks up for himself) but seems ok around others although careful introduction should be taken when introducing to another dog. Very friendly with all of the staff.

Reference 3850 Kennel 38 Breed - SBT x Age - 9months Sex - Male Colour - Brown/cream/fawn Size - Small Adorable, friendly, affectionate dog. Good with other dogs. Well trained and knows basic commands. Doesn't pull much on the lead. Loves people. Usually clean at night. Very unusual in colour. Very soft.
SHEFFIELD COUNCIL STRAY AND ABANDONED DOGS
Dogs picked up by the Sheffield Council will be held for 7 days. As are any lost dog. After that 7 days - they are put up for rehoming. Sheffield Council try their hardest to find homes for the dogs in their care. Lots of lovely dogs - desperately needing homes. PLEASE give them a chance and go and see them. Usually there is no more wrong with them than being lost - or in the wrong home previously.
Phone the following number to arrange an appointment to view these dogs. 0114 293 0362 FOR AN APPOINTMENT. These dogs are nothing to do with the SHEFFIELD RSPCA and so appointments or questions cannot be directed at them. The Sheffield RSPCA do not deal with stray dogs.
Drive along Corporation Street, past the Shakespeare pub and turn left into Spring Road (cos that what it says on the end of it) BEFORE the Dulux paint shop.
THE BUILDING IS BRIGHT BLUE AND HAS PAINTED MURAL PICS ALL OVER IT,
Park your car on the road outside the Shakespeare Pub, and walk down. When you see a new brick wall straight in front of you turn right in front of the railings and you will see a blue wooden door. Ring the bell at the time you have an appointment.
