Some of you have may already read the news via our social media channels but it is with a heavy sad heart that we have to tell you our little Freddie was put out of his painful sadness on saturday and left to go and be free with the angels.

This little loved boy who had fought every single day of his life to be strong, just wasn’t strong enough to fight the weak body that he had been given. His immune system was so weak he simply couldn’t grow and fight. His foster mum and dad and family had nursed this strong little chap every day for the last few months, trying to keep food in his tummy, to keep him some weight on, to keep his skin moistened (and not smell so much), and make him grow.

His foster mum loved and nursed and snuggled him up in his big towel and his little tail wagged as he ran around the garden when the sun shone.

Sadly though it just wasn’t to be and over the last few weeks with all the vet trips, and medicines and build up foods we had tried, he was still loosing weight and getting weaker by the day.

Today after the last set of blood tests, the vet advised us that it was kinder to put him to sleep and sadly, we all knew it was right too – no matter how much it hurts.

Your fight was worth it Freddie, everyone who knew you loved you and only wished the best for you.
Sleep in peace little man.
