Whatever role you take when volunteering for Rain Rescue, we want to make sure it is as rewarding for you as it is for the animals who benefit from your generosity. Whether you’re manning the till at our charity shop in Arbourthorne or cleaning out the cattery, your work will help us do more for the animals who most need our support.

Who can apply?

  • We’re looking for anybody with enthusiasm, a willingness to get stuck in and the commitment to see a job through; if you’re not sure if our current opportunities are right for you, get in touch and we can find a way to let you contribute!
  • You will need to be at least 18 years of age
  • Roles in our charity shop are most worthwhile for everyone if you can commit to a minimum of four hours per week (though we’re pretty flexible about when they will be!)

Rain Rescue relies on donations from members of the public in order to raise funds for our work. This could be an ideal opportunity to get experience in a busy retail environment – or to engage with the community while doing good!

You’ll have a range of responsibilities in this opportunity to develop your skills, enhance your CV and meet new friends. Not only will you will be raising funds to save the lives of unwanted and abandoned pets in South Yorkshire, but you will also gain valuable experience within the retail sector, with full and guided training – all while having fun!

Our shop is located at Northern Avenue, Arbourthorne, Sheffield

To apply please email lucy@rainrescue.co.uk
