Luggs is a very special boy .....
Luggs is deaf. He has no other problems at all and doesnt need any medical treatment for his hearing. He is so lovely and bouncy, it doesnt seem to phase him at all. He loves people and other dogs and could be cat tested too.
Luggs is only about 7 months old, bless him. He could definitely be trained in the right home.
He is quite an active dog and has a fantastic temperment. Luggs was found as a stray and was due to be put to sleep but we just couldnt resist his beautiful face!
He will make a great family pet but is looking for a special home. He will need a home with a lot of patience o train him. Due to his hearing difficulties he will have to learn some sign language and will not be able to be let off the lead anywhere that isn't fully enclosed.
K - Yes, but not youngsters as he might knock them over with excitement!
C - Possibly
H - Semi
D - Good

Harvey is a cutie. He was very timid when he arrived but soon came round. He is however very unhappy in kennels and despite our best attempts he is losing weight and becoming very down. He is looking for a new home where he can be loved and trained. Harvey is about 2 years old and hasn't got much training. He would be fairly easy to train if given the time and attention, once he has built up a bond with someone. Harvey is a medium sized dog with beautiful markings. Could you rescue Harvey and take care of him forever?
D - Still learning to mix
C - Could be tested
K - 12+
H - No

This is Stanley, he was quite poorley in his first couple of months here because he suffers from separation anxiety. He chewed his own legs and really hurt himself. He is okay now but does still suffer from separation anxiety and pines when he is left alone. This is caused by the insecuirty that we might not come back. This can be solved once he is in a home with the right training. He is ideally looking for a home where he will not be left for long periods of time. He is great with all people and children but a little bit boisterous. He loves playing and running with other dogs and as you can see is just a big baby!
Stan is a medium sized dog, short coated and was found as a stray in September 2007. He would be suitable for families if the children are over 6 years old.
Stan has been with us since October 2007.

Tia is a very special young lady. When she arrived with us Tia was heavily pregnant. That was back in August and now all her puppies have gone. Typically the puppies have gone and Tia is still left! She is very friendly and loves everyone. She is medium sized and short coated. She is only about 3 years old herself, bless her. She would really benefit froma training class but we're sure she would do well as she is a bit of bright spark. Can you offer Tia a chance?
D - Appears to be fine
C - Could be cat tested

Rexi really is a little darling, he had to be handed over to us by his family who had owned him for 4 years because of health problems within the family. Rexi grew up with the children and loved them very much. He is below knee height and loves cuddles! Rexi is housetrained and working on socialising with other dogs. He can be wary because he has been attacked in the past but we think he will get there. Rexi has so muc love to give and will make a great family pet or companion. Could you take on this baby boy?

My name is Wesley. I am about two years old and a real baby. I love nice strolls, warm bedding and good food. I am a fave with the staff and have been here since November 2006. Wes can be abit boisterous if allowed to so he is looking for a firm but fair home who have had a dog before. He is doing really well with his training but is still trying to push the boundaries. He is learning and is now responding. He has been getting on well with other dogs and his general manners are improving. He can sit, stay, give paw, wait for his dinner and do a short stay. He walks quite well on a non pull harness and his recall is really good. He has also got over his motion sickness and travels quite well too. Given a chance and the right guidance Wesley will make some one a great dog.
K - Teenagers

H- Semi
D- Fine - but would prefer to be the only pet or live with a female of a similar age.
