Hi, I'm Steven

A sweet greyhound boy who loves company and gets comfort from having a friend

Steven’s Story

After a life of racing this gentle boy is looking for a family who can show him what life is really all about – fun, company and love.  Stevie has raced a lot, almost 100 races over a number of years – he deserves a good retirement now. The way to Steven’s heart is most definitely through his tummy – there’s nothing this boy likes more than a tasty treat!

Steven is sharing our office with us every day, with whatever female grey we have in at the time and he’s currently sharing it with Rabbit. Most of the time he’s a chilled boy, but gets upset if you leave him, which we are working on every day

Steven enjoys the company of humans which means that he can struggle when left by himself, so a home where he isn’t alone for long periods would suit him best. He is however, learning to be crate trained and actually likes the security of being safe inside his crate so someone who is happy to continue working on this, will help him adjust to life in a home.

Can you be the one to continue helping Steven adjust to life off the track.

Adopting Steven

Steven will be re-homed under Greyhound Trust through Rain Rescue.

Steven will come home with his own Leather Greyhound collar and lead. Having been health checked by our vet he is fully vaccinated and microchipped and we will change his microchip over to you. Whilst in our care he has been wormed, flead and neutered.

On adoption day you will leave us with 4 weeks FREE Pet insurance underwritten by PetPlan as well as a bag of complete dog food provided by Burns Pet Nutrition. We have other leads, collars and harnesses for you to purchase here at the centre and you will be able to place your order for a personalised BOW WOW dog ID tag to ensure you comply with the law by wearing a disc.
