Just a few short weeks ago, we received an urgent phone call to assist a tiny, abandoned kitten found on the dual carriageway between Sheffield and Rotherham. We were full to bursting, but nowhere else could help- how could we say no?
Fraggle arrived with us within the hour and went straight into emergency foster care with a member of staff, until something more permanent could be arranged for him. He was cold, hungry and a little dehydrated. Thankfully, with round the clock monitoring and syringing fluids, he perked up and was soon eating happily, and playing, as all kittens should!
A few days later, one of our fab foster homes stepped up as their last kitten went home, and off Fraggle went. He spend 5 weeks there, growing, developing and learning how to be a cat. He was socialised to help him grow into a confident young cat and learnt from the adult cats in the home. It wasn’t long before his final family came along and offered him a new home, and we are pleased to say, he has settled in brilliantly!
