When we took the call to see if we could help this poor boy, we knew we couldn’t say no.
As you can see from his arrival photo, he was in a state, another un-neutered male, no collar, no microchip and with an oozing wound on his back. Had he ever been loved? He arrived with us on the morning of the 20th August and was straight off to see the vet! Thanks to the generous support of people like you and our amazing Facebook followers, we knew we could do everything possible to ensure his luck changed, and he could get the chance to live a happy life, like every cat deserves.
The poor boy had grotty ears (and mites too), an infected and sore mouth and needed his castrate and test for FIV/FeLV, but we remained hopeful for a happy ending for him.
If RAIN hadn’t have been there for him, life could have been so different. He started to settle in, and enjoy a comfy bed, something he’s probably not seen for a long time.
He unfortunately developed a bout of flu but continued his ear treatment; they’d clearly been in need of some attention for a long time, but as you can see – his white bits whitened, and he definitely started feeling much happier.
After a few days he landed himself a wonderful foster home, he had a huge dental operation and recovered really well. Then happy days he got himself his forever home with a fabulous new family who adopted him on first meet ???? Go Godfrey! ????
